The data reported are based on daily counts that hospitals report to IDPH through EMResource. They should be considered provisional and may be subject to change as a result of IDPH’s continuous data validation and hospital follow-up efforts.

² Total beds is the number of staffed Adult ICU, Med Surg, Burn, Psych, ED, AIIR, and OR beds and any other type of staffed beds. It excludes Peds, PICU, NICU.
³ Total beds open is the number of Adult ICU, Med Surg, Burn, Psych, ED, AIIR OR, and other staffed beds that are currently vacant and available for immediate patient use. It excludes Peds, PICU, NICU.
